The Practice  

The Clinic has been in operations for more than 15 years.  The practice has a team cardiologists with sub specialty interest in treating cardiovascular diseases.  
The practice is heavily involved in being at the forefront of R&D, enabling you to participate in clinical research projects and get access to manage a range of complex pathology.  The practice has strong ties and affiliations with the major tertiary teaching hospitals in South Australia. 

A vacancy has become available.  
In this role, you will perform the following duties.  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality echo cardiograms, stress echo cardiograms and produce preliminary reports. 
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other health-care professionals 
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Stay abreast of advancements in cardiac imaging technology 
  • Provide excellent patient care and ensure a comfortable and informed experience for patients undergoing cardiac imaging procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Science or similar discipline 
  • Accreditation with the Australasian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality
  • Ability to use GE Vivid IQ machines 
  • Willing to learn how to use Echo Pac Reporting system
