The Clinic 

The clinic is a prominent cardiology practice dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to our community. The practice is committed to excellence in patient care and innovation in cardiac diagnostics. The practice has plans to be adding on more staff.  Forward locum dates are available for a  skilled and enthusiastic Cardiac Sonographer to work with the team on a casual basis to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging services.


Responsibilities:

As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process, utilising advanced imaging technologies 

• Conducting echo-cardiograms and producing preliminary reports 
• Performing stress echo-cardiograms 
• Collaborating with cardiologists to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
• Current ASAR registration  
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
