The Practice  

Cardiac Sonographers are required for an established, successful cardiovascular clinic that is located, opposite the train station in South Sydney. With expansion plans underway, with a great deal of support from doctors, sonographers and admin staff, this practice is very organised.  You will find that you are offered plenty of time to work between patients and that the pace of the work, is reasonable and not back wrenching. The Clinic has been in operations fo more than 20 years with more plans to expand the practice.   Give this practice a try by picking up some work and see how you go, before making any more long term plans, commitment. 

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations, including transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms
  • All the work you are doing, is for out patients.  
  • Use GE or Philips machines  
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other health care professionals 
  • Provide high quality patient care  
Qualifications:
  • Accredited certification as a Cardiac Sonographer 
  • Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in performing a wide range of cardiac ultrasound examinations
  • Familiarity with cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology, with the ability to identify and interpret abnormalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
