The Practice  

A highly regarded cardiology practice located in the CBD has a vacancy for a cardiac sonographer to work with a team of cardiologist on alternate Wednesday or Friday's or both days in the  late afternoons. The cardiologist provide a range of invasive and non invasive cardiovascular services.  The doctors are affiliated with the major public and private hospitals in Sydney. The practice has a strong patient following. The doctors have more than 20 years of experience in the industry and are key subject matter experts within their sub speciality interest.  The doctors have presented at national and international conferences.  


The Position  

Perform 12 lead ECG , monitor blood pressure, put on Holter's, produce preliminary reports, perform echo cardiograms and stress echocardiograms. 


Requirements

  • ASAR Accredited 
  • Excellent bed side manner  
  • Experience using Philip machines  
  • Able to work independently 
  • Perform echo and stress echo on 30-45 minute appointments
