About the Practice 

A privately owned cardiovascular clinic in the South of Brisbane is dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiac care and improving the heart health of patients. A cardiac scientists position has become avaialble.  The clinic is supportive of cardiac scientists that would like to do the home monitoring aspects of their role, at the comfort of their own home.  

The Position  

Are you a skilled Cardiac Scientist seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of cardiac conditions? A South Brisbane Based Clinic has a vacancy for a talented and dedicated Cardiac Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in improving patient outcomes and contributing to the early detection and management of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a wide range of non-invasive cardiac tests and procedures, including ECGs, echo cardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring analysis 
• Interact closely with patients, gathering medical histories, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Set up and operate specialised cardiac testing equipment, maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team
• Participate in our home monitoring service,allowing you to work half days in the comfort of your own home  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in science or related discipline. 
• Proven experience working as a cardiac scientist. 
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Commitment to patient-centred care and maintaining the highest ethical standards.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Availability to work three days a week, with flexibility for remote work in the home monitoring service.
