The Position

A South Brisbane Based Clinic has a vacancy for a talented and dedicated Cardiac Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in improving patient outcomes and contributing to the early detection and management of cardiovascular diseases.

A South Brisbane Based Clinic has a vacancy for a talented and dedicated Cardiac Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in improving patient outcomes and contributing to the early detection and management of cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a wide range of non-invasive cardiac tests and procedures, including ECGs, echo cardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring analysis
- Interact closely with patients, gathering medical histories, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Set up and operate specialised cardiac testing equipment, maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team
- Participate in our home monitoring service,allowing you to work half days in the comfort of your own home
- Bachelor's degree in science or related discipline.
- Proven experience working as a cardiac scientist.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and maintaining the highest ethical standards.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Availability to work three days a week, with flexibility for remote work in the home monitoring service.
