A global digital health organisation with established international deployments across hospital and health systems is assessing an Australian rollout of a maternity-focused Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform. The organisation partners with large healthcare providers and public health services to improve clinical workflow, patient safety, reporting and consumer experience through digital transformation.

About the opportunity
This is a full-time, 3-month contract for a Product Owner / Business Analyst to support a maternity Electronic Medical Record (EMR) feasibility and localisation project for the Australian market. You will work closely with clinical SMEs and internal product/reporting stakeholders to map current-state workflows, identify gaps between Australian requirements and an existing mature platform, and translate findings into clear, actionable artefacts for technical estimation and decision-making. This role is critical to determining scope, viability and effort required for localisation across different state-based maternity environments.

Duties
  • Lead workflow discovery with clinical stakeholders
  • Map current vs target-state processes
  • Produce gap analysis and requirements artefacts
  • Translate clinical input into user stories/specs
  • Document reporting and data capture needs
  • Support estimation and feasibility recommendations
  • Coordinate reviews with product and reporting teams

Skills and Experience

  • BA/PO, digital health in Australia
  • Australian Electronic Medical Record projects for major health services
  • Hospital stakeholder engagement
  • Requirements documentation expertise
