About the opportunity
Reporting above country to a global HEOR lead, you will work closely with the ANZ Market Access head to provide HEOR (Health Economics & Outcomes Research) capabilities across ANZ.  Your experience contributing to local HEOR evidence and data generation will position you well as a key lead in building partnerships with academic and research institutes and government bodies to facilitate access to research studies, data and evidence ensuring accelerated outcomes for patients and the broader community.  This is also a unique opportunity to build the platform for the HEOR function in ANZ and contribute to global HEOR strategy.

Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of the local HEOR strategy inline with pipeline therapeutics and related reimbursement dossiers across ANZ

  • Partner with key stakeholders locally and above country to ensure alignment with all HEOR / Market Access requirements

  • Represent the HEOR function on cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert

  • Contribute to innovative approaches to price negotiations across a wide range of therapeutic areas

  • Lead the local execution of high quality HEOR programs and studies

  • Build and embed the HEOR function in the ANZ company landscape


Mandatory Skills and Experience

  • Extensive market access and HEOR experience in pharmaceuticals and/or vaccines sector

  • Ability to lead the strategy and deliver on the execution of HEOR deliverables across ANZ

  • Experience working with external stakeholders to build relationships that will deliver high quality data and research contributing to accelerated access to life changing therapeutics

  • Proven ability leading highly strategic Market Access, Reimbursement and HEOR responsibilities for global pharmaceutical organisations

  • Experience working in a complex, dynamic and cross functional corporate environment

  • Ability to work between strategic and execution priorities across multiple competing critical projects

  • Currently based in Melbourne or ability to relocate in the short term (including full permanent working rights in Australia)

  • Ability to act with urgency as the organisation builds its global footprint
