About the opportunity...
This role takes complete ownership of the accounts payable, procurement, travel and expense management for the Australia & New Zealand legal entities. Drive projects within accounts payable and procurement to improve processes and create new, more efficient ways of working. The role requires strong leadership, effective project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to foster accountability and achieve exceptional results.
What you'll be doing...
Manage projects across Accounts Payable and Procurement to improve and streamline processes
Process invoices, payment runs, and maintain accuracy and compliance in SAP
Review and process employee travel and expense claims in Concur
Proactive resolution of vendor queries and effective management of preferred vendors
Liaise with Legal and Global Third Party Risk Management for vendor contracting and risk assessments compliance
Provide training to various stakeholders on systems and processes
Proactive support for local business and acting as the Accounts Payable & Procurement Champion
Support month-end closing, reporting and external audits when necessary
About you...
Experience working in a full function Accounts Payable role
Able to demonstrate examples of managing projects within AP/ procurement
Proven ability to analyse problems and find solutions
Business partner, influence and build relationships across an organisation
Proficient with various systems and strong Excel skills
