In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee both the Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance functions, providing expert guidance to a team of seasoned professionals while contributing to the expansion of the organisation’s product portfolio. Duties Lead a team of senior regulatory professionals whilst developing and executing regulatory strategies to drive product portfolio expansion. Oversee regulatory compliance across the ANZ and APAC regions throughout the product lifecycle. Prepare and manage submissions for products to relevant authorities, including the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia, Medsafe in New Zealand, and HSA in Singapore. Collaborate with global business partners to navigate complex regulatory pathways. Act as the regional expert and local QPPV for Pharmacovigilance (PV) with TGA. Lead and manage PV activities, ensuring full regulatory compliance. Skills and Experience Extensive experience in Regulatory Affairs across ANZ and ideally the APAC region. Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to flex between strategic and tactical execution. Experience and/or exposure to leading Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety. Ability to develop and lead a high performing team of Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance professionals. Proven experience leading diverse teams and driving strategic regulatory initiatives. INOVIQ’s portfolio includes 2 products in-market for exosome isolation and bladder cancer detection, 3 clinical-stage diagnostics for detection and monitoring of breast and ovarian cancers, and an early-stage CAR-exosome therapy for solid tumours. The company is well-funded and positioned to capitalise on its existing product portfolio while exploring strategic M&A opportunities for growth. About the opportunity In this pivotal, newly created role, you will lead the business development, licensing and sales of INOVIQ technologies and products globally including its exosome capture tools, diagnostics and therapeutics to pharmaceutical, academic, diagnostic companies and expand collaborations, secure commercial partners and achieve revenue objectives.   Duties This is an executive leadership role reporting to the CEO and responsible for providing commercial leadership, developing best practice BD/sales policies, strategies and plans, implementing BD/sales programs, securing collaborations and partnerships, evaluating external business opportunities, and motivating the BD/Sales team to achieve departmental and individual objectives. Your remit will be to: Lead and develop Business Development and Licensing programs for INOVIQ technologies, products and pipeline to expand collaborations, speed product development and achieve licensing revenues. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities including partners, technologies, products and markets. Identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), grant funding and collaboration initiatives to support INOVIQ’s product development, export development, marketing, sales and manufacturing activities worldwide. Analyse and develop business cases to evaluate proposed new business initiatives, potential partners and deals. Negotiate deal terms, prepare term sheets and draft agreements in collaboration with external Legal, for review and approval by CEO. Manage business development and alliances with external collaborators, contractors and partners to ensure effective communication and on-budget and on-time contract delivery Represent INOVIQ, deliver presentations and lead partnering at relevant industry conferences/ taskforces to build networks, gather intelligence and develop leads. Provide commercial leadership and direction, set best practice BD/Sales policies, determine priorities and drive commercial focus for the Company to achieve its vision, mission & objectives. Recruit, lead, motivate and mentor a high-performing BD/Sales team to achieve agreed departmental and individual objectives. Build networks and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Executive, investors, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Academia, Industry, collaborators, partners and customers. Mandatory experience required Extensive global Business Development and Licensing leadership experience at senior executive-level working in industry (pharma and biotech) across a diverse cancer therapeutics/diagnostics portfolio. Experience working in a global senior business development role within pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Previous CCO, VP BD, VP Sales experience in commercialising CAR-T Therapy, Cell Therapy, Exosome Therapy, Immunotherapy or Biologics in a multinational Pharma/Biotech in Oncology (highly desired). Proven ability to articulate commercial vision, develop business strategies and prepare commercialisation plans. Experience in business planning, budgeting, forecasting, managing and reporting on business programs including research collaborations, commercial partnerships and sales of diagnostics and/or therapeutics to achieve commercial milestones. Established commercial track record and networks in cancer therapeutics and/or diagnostics including deal history (research collaborations, licensing and/or acquisitions), product commercialisation and/or revenue growth. Commercial expertise in business development, licensing, technical marketing and/or sales of cancer therapeutics and/or diagnostics. Sound knowledge of global cancer market for diagnostics and therapeutics, existing products and pipeline, major players and competitive strategies. Business understanding and experience in IP strategy, management and licensing. Location This role is Melbourne-based.  Applicants open to relocation to Melbourne will be considered.
