About the opportunity
Our client is seeking a warehouse operator to perform various shipping and upkeep duties within the warehouse including accepting orders, managing supplies, organising products as well as administrative and clerical duties.

Responsibilities
  • Might be variable to start with – still some routine to be established
  • Receiving delivery truck to the warehouse entrance
  • Unloading truck with forklift
  • Bring material to material airlock
  • Checking deliveries for any damage and that it matches the purchase order
  • Checking documentation
  • Unpacking delivery – ensuring it goes to correct location eg fridge/freezer
  • Place the delivery to staging area
  • Receipting to SAP against PO
  • Unpacking and putting away delivery and warehouse cleanliness
  • Picking – transfer materials to production according to pick list
  • Filling in logs if materials need to go to certain location
  • Undertake training as required – eg EHS and operations

Skills and Experience
  • Completion of Year 12
  • Forklift Licence
  • Ideally 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Own car and licence and not close to public transport
  • Must be able to start at 8:00 am
  • System receipting experience is an advantage
