This is a rare opportunity for a Veterinarian to step out of day-to-day practice and apply their clinical skills in a structured, research-aligned environment.
Working within a state-of-the-art facility, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of animal welfare, clinical oversight, and compliance across multi-species research programs.
This is the ideal role for a vet looking to contribute to science and ethical animal care not just treat patients, but shape outcomes.
You’ll collaborate with experienced elite team to ensure animal health is prioritised. This role offers true impact, structure, and variety, with no clients.
This role is fully on-site in Kemps Creek.

Duties
- Deliver clinical oversight, diagnosis, and treatment across a range of species
- Provide veterinary clearance and health assessments for animals
- Develop and support welfare programs
- Maintain and improve SOPs, ensure audit readiness, and contribute to compliance protocols
- Train and mentor junior staff in safe handling, restraint, and clinical best practice
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support animal care
Skills and Experience
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary degree, and eligibility for NSW registration
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in companion, mixed, or shelter practice
- Exposure to research, shelter, or regulated environments (GLP, welfare, or biosecurity) highly regarded
- Calm, collaborative communicator who enjoys working as part of a structured, multidisciplinary team
- Passionate about advancing standards in animal care
