About the opportunity

As the Account Manager you will focus on driving business for your Surgical Ophthalmology (Refractive - IOL's) portfolio across the Newcastle - Central Coast - wider Region. Through the setting of strategic plans, you will deliver on revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.


Duties

  • Creation & implementation of your annual sales plans
  • Responsible for the consignment checks, in theatre case support during cataract procedures to meet customer & patient need,
  • Map out key decision makers & the patient pathway
  • Drive sales of your products across your territory
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team

Skills and Experience

  • Medical Devices Sales experience preferred
  • Clinical experience as an Orthoptist / Ophthalmologist / Optical Technician essential
  • Hunter mentality & can-do attitude
  • Demonstrated success with innovative solutions to grow market share
  • Engaging & passionate communicator
  • A person that can take ownership & deliver results
  • High degree of commercial acumen
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelors degree
