About the opportunity

As the Team Leader you will provide ongoing guidance, support, and leadership to all care staff, ensuring goals are achieved in line with best practice. The role reports directly into the Operations Manager. You will be responsible for undertaking regular audits of the service, identifying gaps in care delivery, planning and execution of improvements.

Duties

• Ensure care is in line with values of the clients and organisation

• Coordinate the delegation of care and ensure it is within carer's scope of practice

• Ensure care being provided meets the aged care standards

• Supervise and lead the community-based team

• Daily management & oversight of clinical governance

• Problem-solving abilities applicable to all areas of care services

• Provide clinical support within complex nursing care situations

• Ensure delivery of quality care

Skills and Experience

• Current AHPRA registration

• Aged care experience within a community setting

• Excellent communication skills

• Computer literate

• Drivers licence

• Demonstrated experience in leading a team
