About the opportunity

In this role you will report into the Country Manager working with a close-knit team. Your role will involve purchasing inventory, liaising with the logistics associate & warehouse functions, working closely with and maintaining relationships with couriers/freight forwarders, communicating with headquarters overseas and reviewing and maintaining inventory levels & marketing material. In this role you will work closely with customer service and may be called upon to assist where needed.

Duties

  • Communicate with headquarters regarding backorders overseas
  • Order inventory and marketing material
  • Communicate with freight forwarders in relation to incoming shipments & providing customs declarations
  • Inventory control
  • Support customer service & logistics to ensure smooth delivery to customers
  • Support the team with suppliers, marketing material and demos

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the Biotech/Research Industry is highly desirable
  • 2 years' experience working in customer service
  • SAP experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication & time management skills
  • Passionate about great customer service
  • Proactive and able to pick up new skills
