• Sunshine Coast - Caloundra to Gympie - community based role

• Paying $32.88 - $42.10 per hour plus super + 9.5% Super + NFP Salary Packaging + 72 cents per kilometre (dependant on experience)

• Immediate Start

• 1 x Permanent Full Time - 76 hours per fortnight

• 1x Permanent Part Time - up to 20 hours per fortnight

This provider is looking for 2 dedicated Speech pathologist to join their community based team in the beautiful area of Sunshine Coast, QLD. Travelling to residents between Caloundra to Gympie and all between and surrounding.

Scope:
You may work with the aged, adults, children and their families/caregivers with special needs in communication, a communication disability and / or swallowing disorders associated with:

• Diagnosed impairments - physical and cognitive

• Genetic and medical conditions

• Chronic disease

• Ageing process

You will provide interventions on:

• Speech

• Voice

• Fluency disorders

• Language

• Receptive communication (sensory losses associated with hearing impairment)

• Social Skills

• Problem solving

• Literacy

• Swallowing or other upper aerodigestive functions

• Alternative and augmentative communication

• Communication and cognition deficits associated with dementia

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum one year working experience

• Unrestricted working rights

• Bachelor Degree - Speech Therapy/Speech Pathology

• Unrestricted AHPRA Registration

• Open Australian Drivers Licence

• Access to road worthy vehicle suitable for the transportation of frail and aged clients

• Proof of comprehensive care insurance
