About the Company

About the role

As a reimbursement lead, you will be pivotal to the strategy development of a key product portfolio and will work closely cross functionally to maximise reimbursement opportunities.

Duties

• Collaborate, plan and inform the business on strategic reimbursement strategies
• Examine key business areas and review clinical evidence in order to maximise reimbursement opportunities
• Ability to interpret health economic, healthcare and clinical data
• Have a comprehensive understanding of the payer landscape including payment and coverage policies
• Work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders and foster relationships to drive business success
• Stay informed about government policy changes and advice the business accordingly
• Work with external stakeholders to influence the businesses reimbursement applications

Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years' experience in reimbursement
• Experience working for a medical device or pharmaceutical company
• MSAC submission experience is highly desirable
• Ability to build strong working relationships cross functionally
• Strong understanding of commercial and government payer landscape
• Full Australian Working Rights
