About the opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Medical Affairs Associate to join a collaborative medical team in this diverse medical affairs role. This is an exciting learning opportunity to be part of a dynamic and unique company featuring both global headquarter and local affiliate aspects. The role is responsible for providing clinical and scientific support of commercial activities as well as delivering medical information. Opportunity to work from home & the office.
 

Duties
  • Development and execution of medical activities
  • Provide medical expertise and support in line with brand strategies
  • Part of the global headquarter for local brands and will develop medical information and educational materials
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of products, therapeutic areas, and relevant codes of practice and policies
  • Review and approve promotional materials and activities
  • Provide process improvement for accurate and timely responses to medical enquiries
  • Conduct product and therapy area training
  • Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and stakeholders as needed
  • Provide guidance and training to other members of the Medical team, as appropriate
  • Be the stand in for the Medical Affairs Manager as needed
 

Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Nursing or related healthcare degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs
  • Familiar with the MA Code of Conduct and/or Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code
  • Experience engaging with external stakeholders
  • Ability to understand, analyse, and clearly communicate complex medical issues
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive with the ability to demonstrate leadership and accountability
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
