About the opportunity
As the Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator you will playa pivotal role within the Clinical Trials Unit, working closely with Principal Investigators, Sponsors, and the dedicated team to ensure the seamless coordination and support of clinical trial research activities at the Hospital. This position is integral to maintaining a consistently high-quality, professional, and efficient research service. In addition to day-to-day unit management, this role will be responsible for spearheading the development and establishment of new research projects.
Duties
Develop positive relationships with Investigators, Sponsors, and Clinicians
Establish preferred clinical research site status
Foster research integration across clinical disciplines
Negotiate budgets, contracts, and manage finances
Facilitate team communication
Deliver high-quality patient care and maintain stakeholder communication
Identify quality improvement opportunities and ensure ethical research conduct
Assess patient eligibility for trials, coordinate data collection and visits
Ensure data accuracy and completeness, manage administrative tasks for trials
Coordinate trial medication supply and provide data for analyses and presentations
Stay updated on discipline trends, attend conferences, and engage in professional associations
Skills and Experience
3+ years’ prior experience in clinical trials or clinical research projects
Haematology experience
Registered nurse or relevant scientific degree
Demonstrated leadership and management skills
Understanding of clinical trials methodology
Excellent attention to detail skills
Excellent team player and highly motivated
Rapport-building skills with patients and HCP's
