• 60 Hours per fortnight

• $30.81 - $39.12 per hour + Shift Allowances and Penalties + 9.5% Super + Salary Packaging + employee benefits

Purpose of the role:

To provide superior nursing care and support to the Aged Care community with a goal of assisting the residents to maintain their independence and remain within their home in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Promote a consultative and collaborative approach to client care planning including participation by the client and/or the client's representative.

• Ensure client care is assessed, planned and implemented, and progress is evaluated in accordance with the model of care and takes into consideration each client's physical, social, emotional, spiritual and clinical needs.

• Develop, implement, monitor and review care plans to meet clients health care needs and to promote quality of life.

• Ensure reported changes or concerns in client conditions are acted upon appropriately.

• Provide nursing care within the scope of clinical practice.

• Monitor and delegate personal care given by other staff in accordance with scope of practice. .

• Assist in research relevant to clinical matters.

• Assist the Service Manager to ensure that the service meets all accreditation standards.

Essential Criteria

• Unrestricted working rights

• Bachelor of Nursing

• Unrestricted APRHA Registration

• Open Australian Drivers Licence

• Access to road worthy vehicle suitable for the transportation of frail and aged clients

• Proof of comprehensive care insurance

• 2 years proven Registered Nurse aged care experience, preferably community based experience.
