About The Company

My client is a welcoming aged care home located in the picturesque coastal town of Tuncurry, situated close to public transport and shops and a short drive to Nine Mile Beach. My client offers a choice of care and services to the local community.


About The Opportunity

Currently there is a need for a Night Shift Nurse to work on a permanent basis. 

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will work within a friendly and supportive team to contribute to the coordination of best practice clinical care that supports and enhances residents needs and wellbeing;

• Comprehensive, individual asessments and care plans for new and existing residents.
• Ensure prompt and specific documentation including ACFI and Commonwealth standards.
• Provide direction and guidance to Personal Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses and promote a holistic team approach to the delivery of resident care.
• Sound proficiency and procedural responsibility in medication management, wound assessment and dressing technique.

Skills & Experience

• 2 years experienced within an aged care facility.
• Current AHPRA Registration  
• Previous experience producing the highest of standards for clinical documentation.
• Commitment to Work Health and Safety principles.
• The ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
• Prior AFCI experience.
