About the company
An established and reputable global veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturer in South Sydney. An FDA and EMA-accredited site with a market-leading portfolio for livestock, and companion animals.


Duties
• Sampling of raw materials, vials, plugs, seals, and other packaging components
• Analysis of plugs, vials, and pre-packaged components in compliance with the relevant test methods and specifications
• Sampling of NPI Materials
• Reporting results in an accurate and timely manner to the team leader
• Oversight of OOS and OOT investigations according to company’s procedures
• Conduct scheduled instrument calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrument issues

** Please note that this role can be physically demanding on occasion. You would be required to move 20-25kg packs **

Skills and Experience
• Open to University Science graduates who’ve completed their degree with an Australian University within the past 1-2 years
• An understanding of cGMP or CGLP
• Clear communication whilst liaising with different stakeholders
• Strong written skills, and experience with quality systems and reports
• Work independently or contribute to a team
• Required Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency



About the opportunity
This QC Associate role will focus on sampling raw materials, plugs, vials, seals, and printed packaging components. Including trending the results and performing other duties as required. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who’s recently graduated locally and has gained some experience with a manufacturing company. You will need to have meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach to learning, strong work ethic and good documentation practices.
