This is a large global company with employees around Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia with over 10 locations across Australasia. This Organization is a wholesaler of medical consumable to primary care industries with global outreach.
Duties
• Majority of the role is based on providing support and overseeing all WHS related tasks nationally
• Liaising with site management and their teams on administering WHS obligations and driving compliance
• Conduct audits as required
• Ensuring all Third-Party Technical Agreements are adhered to
• Continuously improving and developing existing and new quality systems
• Responsible for reporting and monitoring of quality systems, including investigations, CAPA, and implementing training programs at an operational level
• Supporting validation, qualification and calibration for facilities, equipment, and systems as required
• Assisting all departments with quality system documents such as SOP’s, WI’s, deviations, system qualifications protocols and reports, and change controls
Skills and Experience
• Required prior local experience in pharmaceutical logistics or manufacturing QA department
• Strong understanding and experience with WHS standards and procedures, and document control
• Solid understanding of GWP and legislation
• Preferred lead Auditor qualifications or equivalent in Management Systems Auditing
• Workplace Training and Assessment qualifications or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Visio, and other MS Applications
• Required Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
About the opportunity
As a Quality & OHS Coordinator you will oversee compliance of all warehouses from a Quality and OHS perspective. The role is 60% WH&S and 40% Quality. You will liaise regularly with warehouse, state managers, and OHS Coordinators, with the occasional travel to sites to conduct audits. You will also be tasked with ensuring all issues and actions relating to the safety portal are handled accurately and according to protocol ensuring any issues are closed in a timely manner. You will need to be a self-motivated individual with high attention to detail, solution-oriented mentality, the ability to resolve conflict and effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.
