About the Company

Our client is an Australian multinational specialty biotechnology company that researches, develops, manufactures, and markets products to care for and avoid serious human medical conditions.

About the opportunity

This company are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller/Admin Assistant to assist Operational Readiness side of a key business project.

Responsibilities

The role is approximately 60% document controller (for operational readiness documents) and 40% other administration tasks such as invoicing, correspondence with accounts payable, filing, and general admin for auditing purposes.

In addition to above responsibilities include:

  • Following up a wide array of key stakeholders, making sure they are actioning tasks on time
  • Uploading documents to devops tool
  • Checking approvals & checking document formatting
  • Ensuring documents are sent to the correct stakeholders as part of the document control process
  • Producing weekly reports from the tool
  • Other administration tasks as required

There is another document controller that they will work beside and help support their workload when they are out of the office.

Skills and Experience

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills as they will be dealing with people frequently
  • Able to influence people to take quick action quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and diligent
  • Great computer skills, experienced in Microsoft office suite
  • Min 2 yrs. experience in a similar role
  • Similar industry experience preferred
  • Full working rights within Australia

Other information:

  • Size of Team: 40 - 50 people, core team of 25 day to day
  • Flexibility: Can work some days from home
  • Reports to: Senior Project Manager
