About the opportunity:

As the Production Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of sophisticated machinery used to produce reagents. You will follow operating procedures to ensure the accurate formulation of products, ensuring product consistency, and maintaining inventory of all raw materials and finished products. 


Duties:

• Formulation of products and monitoring process stability
• Laboratory maintenance and cleaning/sanitation of the formulation area
• Operating, cleaning, and maintaining laboratory equipment
• Quality assurance sampling, testing, and visual inspections
• Recording and monitoring process conditions
• Performing physical, repetitive tasks for long periods of time
• Authoring and executing manufacturing batch records and SOPs

Skills and Experience:

• Need to have a minimum of 2 years production and/or laboratory experience
• Experience must be in pharmaceuticals, food or other highly regulated industries
• Must have strong knowledge of GMP
• Familiarity with electrical control systems for various equipment and packaging
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong communication
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
