• $42.10 per hour + 9.5% Super + NFP Salary Packaging+ 72 cents per kilometre

This provider is looking for 3 dedicated PT Perm Physiotherapists to join their community based team in the beautiful area of Sunshine Coast, QLD. Travelling to residents between Caloundra to Gympie and all between and surrounding.

Scope of the role:

Physiotherapists may work with the aged, adults, children and their families/caregivers with special needs in participating in mobility and movement conditions associated with:

• Musculoskeletal / functional impairments

• Genetic and medical conditions

• Surgical procedures

• Chronic disease

• Ageing process

Interventions you may be assisting with:

• Movement

• Pain

• Mobility

• Balance / Falls

• Cardio-respiratory

• Continence

• Muscle weakness / imbalance

• Lymphodema

• Manual handling

• Neurological impairment

Duties Include:

• Screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and intervention programs (individual and group)

• Utilise appropriate electrotherapy equipment for diagnosis, intervention and rehabilitation

• Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and modifications

• Hydrotherapy services

• Goal setting

• Education, training and support on aspects of therapy for clients, carers, staff/volunteers (individual and group)

• Discharge and resolution planning

• Documentation

Selection Criteria

• Minimum 2 years experience, preferably aged care

• Unrestricted working rights

• Bachelor Degree - Physiotherapy

• Unrestricted AHPRA Registration

• Open Australian Drivers Licence

• Access to road worthy vehicle suitable for the transportation of frail and aged clients

• Proof of comprehensive care insurance
