About the opportunity
The Operations and Production Planner will oversee and coordinate process order activities for assigned production areas across both primary and secondary manufacturing. This includes planning for capacity, materials, and regulatory compliance within a cGMP-compliant facility.

Duties
  • Monitor and amend planned orders in alignment with the monthly S&OP cycle, flagging any discrepancies
  • Manage and release process orders, tracking completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Lead weekly planning meetings with manufacturing, QA, QC, and logistics stakeholders
  • Ensure timely QA/QC releases to prevent disruptions to production, shipping, and supply chain activities
  • Oversee SAP transactions for fill-finish operations conducted by CMOs
  • Generate inspection lots for testing and manage transfers and goods receipts for bulk/intermediates
  • Provide S&OP data inputs, including monthly site planning activities
  • Represent the Supply Chain team in operational forums and drive related discussions
  • Lead site-level production planning strategies in line with global procedures
Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Science
  • Proven experience with production planning in SAP
  • Effective decision-making and analytical capabilities
  • Strong data orientation and task efficiency
  • Excellent communicator, capable of timely escalation
  • Background in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid grasp of end-to-end Supply Chain functions, regulatory standards (cGMP, TGA, FDA)
  • Experience in cold chain logistics and handling
  • Expertise in local and international freight, customs, and regulatory compliance
  • Safety-focused approach to managing high-volume warehouse and logistics functions
