- Hourly rate up to $55.29 plus super - dependant on experience with 5 weeks Annual Leave
This family-oriented, IVF clinic in Albury is looking for an experienced Nurse Team Leader, or a Fertility Nurse with over 2 years' experience, looking to take on a leadership role. The ideal candidate will be someone open to change, with the right attitude and is ready to lead a wonderful team of fertility nurses.
Duties Include:
- Provide leadership, direction, resources and development opportunity to reporting staff
- Ensure reporting staff's competencies are maintained by assessment, training and education
- Monitor, manage and report on the performance of reporting staff
- Manage rostering, daily authorising, leave and overtime
- Provide patients with exceptional care and support, tailoring the coordination of treatment to meet individual needs
- Deliver clear and concise information to patients
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clinical staff
- Follow established protocols and ensure the efficient and effective use of resources
- Provide communication to prospective donors, recipients, surrogates & commissioning couples
- Manage donor cycles and liaise effectively with the Donor & Surrogacy team
- Ensure regulatory compliance and communicate business objectives, policies and procedures to the team
- Record actions accurately, completely and without delay
- Solve day-to-day operational issues
- Support and adhere to the Company's Mission and Principles
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience as a Nurse Manager or Nurse Team Leader, or at least 2+ years' experience as a fertility nurse with the ability to lead a team
- Experience in management of patients with infertility
- Knowledge of IVF treatment and protocols (ART)
- Knowledge of appropriate actions for OHSS, vasovagal episodes and prostaglandin reactions
- AHPRA (RN) Registration
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Experience providing primary nursing care to patients
- Clinical knowledge and general knowledge of donor and surrogacy programs
- Ultrasound scanning competency
- Phlebotomy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Resilience and passion to lead a team
