About the opportunity

Join a dynamic Healthcare Communications agency in Sydney as a Medical Writer. This mid-sized creative agency boasts an impressive client portfolio of top local and international pharmaceutical companies. We're seeking an experienced candidate who is a proactive problem-solver and can provide clear, engaging, and creative written work for clients.

 
Duties
 
  • Research, write, edit, and proofread a range of medical education and communications materials
  • Ensure all materials are in accordance with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and the relevant education regulations
  • Edit manuscripts for content, style, syntax, spelling, and eloquence in accordance with relevant client and house style sheets
  • Assist in driving projects
  • Drive projects and offer formatting and style advice as needed
 
 
Skills and Experience
 
  • PhD or a degree in medical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or relevant science fields
  • At least 5 years of writing experience in an agency environment
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific information to target audiences
  • Strong understanding of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
