Medical Services Specialist

About the opportunity

You will provide evidence-based responses to medical enquiries from health professionals, consumers, and sales & marketing. You will record, evaluate, and report all AEs according to internal and regulatory requirements. Provide training and promotional review support to sales and marketing. Contribute to the development of Medical Affairs services

Duties

  • Sourcing and presentation of information in response to medical, clinical, scientific and on regulatory enquiries and support for the medical information services
  • Maintaining medical information and customer complaints databases
  • Review of promotional materials
  • Maintaining medical library & review published literature
  • potential adverse event or quality defect reports resulting from medical information service are
  • appropriately triaged
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and expertise
  • Providing scientific and product training to sales functions
  • Advice and interpretation of product support materials

Skills and Experience

  • Pharmacy (preferred) or Medical/Health Sciences degree
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Med information or Drug Safety - Required
  • Previous experience in medical affairs group in Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Knowledge of the Medicines Australia, ASMI and TGA advertising standards and Code
