About the opportunity

Join this globally leading pharmaceutical company as a Medical Manager - Rheumatology, where you will be the expert for the Rheumatology pipeline and other relevant therapeutic areas. This will involve scientific exchange and relationship building with key industry thought leaders

Duties

  • Develop and maintain in depth knowledge and be the medical expert for assigned therapeutic area

  • Initiate and develop strong and credible relationships with industry key thought leaders

  • Attend scientific congresses, advisory boards, round table meetings

  • Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to HCPs

  • Literature searches, utilising key messages to update and educate the wider company

  • Training across relevant departments including updating of training materials

  • Review and preparation of promotional materials

  • Provide input into marketing strategies and key commercial initiatives

  • Ensure compliance to all applicable industry regulations and guidelines

  • Clinical research duties including design and implementation of research projects, review and approval of IIS studies and provide support to the internal Clinical Operations Team

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or Medical Degree in a relevant discipline

  • Relevant therapy and product pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Knowledge of the drug development process

  • Clinical research experience

  • Strong cross functional and stakeholder management

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
