About the opportunity

The Medical Advisor Diagnostics role offers a rare opportunity to take an area from concept and build it into something great. As a new focus for the organisation Genetic Diagnostics is their gap and therefore an expert in this field, whether it be from a science perspective, or a commercial background is what this role will require to make it work and be successful. Reporting to an Associate Medical Director the role will have tremendous support however the key to the success of this new venture will come from the knowledge and drive the individual will possess

Duties

  • Stakeholder engagement across the relevant diagnostics pathology and chemistry and genomic laboratories
  • Identification of patient groups and study sites
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues across Government Affairs and Market Access with regards to data generation for reimbursement purposes and publication plans for relevant products
  • Evaluation of diagnostic tools
  • Review and approval of marketing and medical information to ensure compliance
  • Attend conferences, investigator meetings and Med Ed events
  • Organise and conduct Advisory Board meetings
  • Plan Medical Education events
  • Training across internal teams

Skills and Experience

  • Higher degree in Health Sciences or a similar relevant discipline
  • 5 years experience in healthcare and/or pharmaceuticals
  • Experience in diagnostic laboratory, pathology laboratory
  • Knowledge of diagnostic methods
  • Experience of planning and/or conducting clinical studies
  • Product management across a large portion of the product life cycle
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to engage internally and external
