About the opportunity
The material planner/inventory controller will be responsible for liaising with vendors regarding materials and inputting data into SAP regarding orders and goods.

Duties
  • Responsible for liaising with vendors for material requirements
  • Placing material orders and goods receipts in SAP
  • Confirming deliveries, and analysing inventory requirements
  • Communicating with stakeholders such as manufacturing, warehousing, QA/QC and 3PL warehouse to analyse, confirm and maintain inventory requirements
  • Complete compliance forms and import permit applications, write/amend SOPs, and work instructions
  • Follow procedures and work instructions
  • Provides support to the organisation for problems with vendor products and services
  • Performs a variety of project-related tasks to support the Supply Chain team

Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor level or must have extensive previous experience in inventory control/planning
  • Previous Inventory management / Coordinator and or planning experience required
  • Medium to excellent Excel skills
  • Experience in using SAP for order processing
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Car and licence are required for this position
