About the opportunity The Material planner/Inventory Controller will be responsible for liaising with vendors for materials as well as inputting data into SAP regarding orders and goods.
Duties
Responsible for liaising with vendors for material requirements
Placing material orders and goods receipts in SAP
Confirming deliveries, and analysing inventory requirements
Communicating with stakeholders such as manufacturing, warehousing, QA/QC and 3PL warehouse to analyse, confirm and maintain inventory requirements
Complete compliance forms and import permit applications, write/amend SOP's, and work instructions
Follow procedures and work instructions.
Provides support to the organisation for problems with vendor products and services
Performs a variety of project-related tasks to support the Supply Chain team.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor level or must have extensive previous experience in inventory control/planning
Previous Inventory management / Coordinator and or planning experience required
Medium to excellent Excel skills
Experience in using SAP for order processing
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Car and licence are required for this position
