About the opportunity
As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing engagement with Medical Oncologists across Australia. You will be involved in a transformative initiative, with the aim of revolutionizing cancer treatment through genomic screening and matching patients with advanced or incurable cancer to clinical trials for new targeted therapies.


Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and stakeholder engagement plans targeting Medical Oncologists and selected associations.

  • Achieve full market penetration, ensuring every Medical Oncologist in Australia is aware of and refers patients to this company.

  • Craft and execute tactical marketing and engagement plans with clear KPIs and action steps, segmented quarterly over a 12-month period.

  • Enhance relationships with professional societies through monthly meetings, podcasts, webinars, educational initiatives, and participation in meetings and conferences.


Skills & Experience

  • Strong marketing background, preferably as a Brand Manager within a pharmaceutical company.

  • Experience working across multiple companies, both small and large, or with contracting assignments.

  • Proven ability to quickly gain traction, deliver results, and navigate the complexity of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across different organizational functions

  • Deep understanding of the Australian oncology sector, with a preference for knowledge in precision medicine and genomics.

  • Tactical and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.

  • Excellent communication skills to convey results and strategies across stakeholders.

  • Motivated by working in a dynamic, pioneering, and exhilarating environment.

  • Adaptable to a startup culture—fast-moving, agile, fun, and relaxed, yet committed to best practice and outstanding healthcare outcomes.
