Our client is a large medical device company specialised in distributing life saving medical devices and equipment across Australia.



About the opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for assisting in various areas within the loan kit department to ensure medical loan kits are received, checked and processed, picked, packed and prepared accurately and in time for surgeries as well as inventory is maintained and replenished where needed. You will also help in coordinating loan kits through their system.
 

Duties

• Receiving medical loan kits.
• Checking and processing usage.
• Accurately pick, pack and prepare loan kits according to orders
• Dispatch accurately and on-time
• Utilisation of the system to locate and process loan kits
• Cycle counts and maintaining inventory.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members
• Work overtime and weekends when requested and on-call

Skills and Experience

• Experience working within the medical device industry or with surgical kits would be highly beneficial
• Tertiary healthcare related qualification will be beneficial
• Proficient in computer systems - experience in stock systems beneficial
• Precise attention to detail is a must
• Own transport & License is essential
• Great communication & collaboration
• Energetic with a positive attitude
• Flexible with your time & strong work ethic
• Reliable
• Able to join and be part of the team from the get go
• Ability to handle a high pressure environment
