About the opportunity
This newly created role offers the chance to step into a true business partner position. Working closely with the Executive team, the Legal Counsel will provide commercial legal advice across contracts, leasing, employment, governance, and M&A. It’s a hands-on role with scope to shape the legal function, reduce reliance on external firms, and take ownership without being siloed.

Duties

• Review, draft, and negotiate supplier and customer contracts

• Provide legal input on leasing and property arrangements

• Advise on employment matters and risk issues

• Support governance and compliance frameworks

• Contribute to Board reporting and due diligence processes

Skills and Experience

• Australian legal practising certificate

• In-house or private practice legal experience

• Expertise in contracts and property leasing

• Able to work independently with senior stakeholders
