About the company

My client is a global, well-established pharmaceutical company with a broad therapy area portfolio of products including, Oncology, Diabetes & Dermatology. They have several offices worldwide and are renowned for their company culture and staff progression.

About the opportunity

As the Health Economist, you will be tasked with the development of PBAC & reimbursement submissions across the entire portfolio as well as management of the pricing & listing sections to the Department of Health whilst following and adhering to PBAC & PHARMAC recommendations. You will be part of a team of 3 and report into the Pricing & Market Access Manager. This is a permanent, office-based role with a superb salary & benefit package attached.

Duties

• Develop reimbursement submissions to the PBAC, MSAC & PHARMAC
• Writing of HTA submissions
• Act as SME across a variety of therapy areas

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in reimbursement, PBAC, MSAC & PHARMAC submissions within the pharmaceutical sector
• Excellent network and experience in working with relevant industry groups that facilitate PBAC/reimbursement submissions e.g. Dept of Health
• Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills
• Full Australian working rights
