About the opportunity

An exciting time to be joining this organisation with a growing portfolio. As Head of Research and Development you will be part of the leadership team, providing strategic direction for the technical development of current and pipeline products. Become a vital member of the innovation team and lead project development, providing product feature training to the brand team and key stakeholders


Duties

• Hands on role developing research and development strategies, policies and plans

• Develop and implement research projects, guiding priorities and targets

• Assess the benefits and cost effectiveness of research and development activities

• Drive innovation by keeping ahead of industry trends with a focus on skincare lifestyle and nutraceuticals

• Provide leadership, line management and development of the clinical team

Skills and Experience

• Clinical trial design experience

• Experience driving research and development strategy

• Good commercial acumen

• Leadership & mentoring capabilities and strong interpersonal skills

• Strong ability to multi-task and handle multiple programs and portfolios in drug discovery and development

• Strong conceptual thinking and innovative skills

• Highly adaptable

• A natural forward planner
