Overview:

Two neighbouring towns in the Goulburn River Valley, just outside of Shepparton (3630), have recently seen the departure and relocation of an established GP. To meet the patient demand of this major agricultural region, a full-time General Practitioner is required in each practice. These clinics are privately owned and operated, dedicated to supporting Generally Registered doctors as they progress through their training programs.

The clinic:

• Owned and operated by a General Practitioner
• Bulk billing structure - some procedural work incurs a private fee
• Situated adjacent to the main road in the centre of town - ample parking for GPs and patients
• Full-time rosters - lucrative options available for flexible GPs
• Clinics operate 7 days per week - weekends are shared evenly and rotationally

Incentives offered:

• DPA and MM4 location - meets requirements for PEP, MDRAP, AGPT, ACRRM, RVTS
• 65% of billings for a Generally Registered GP in a 3GA program
• Full-time nursing support assisting with care plans, immunisations, wound care and more
• Dedicated treatment room, well-equipped for procedural work
• See 4-5 patients per hour - predominantly agricultural workers, families, and aged 40+
