Overview:

There is currently a DPA provider number available just south of Wollongong. Due to an unexpected, recent departure there is now a need for an additional GP to take on a patient base currently being left unseen. This clinic is out-of-the-ordinary, with the ability to take on patients presenting for emergencies such as broken bones, dislocations or those needing sutures.

The clinic:

• Privately owned and operated by a GP

• Full-time and part-time options available

• Mixed billing structure - GPs bill at their discretion

• Current GPs booked out days in advance

• Offers emergency care - takes on overflow of patients from local public hospitals

Incentives offered:

• DPA provider number available for a full-time VR GP

• 70% of billings OR hourly rate of $150/hr offered for initial 12 weeks (whichever is higher)

• Dedicated treatment room, procedural room and nursing room

• Nursing support 7 days per week

• Clinic offers services such as skin cancer management, travel medicine, diabetes screening, CDM and more

Social Incentives:

• Operates 7 days per week - current GPs share rotating weekend roster

• Long-standing and supportive Practice Manager
