Overview:
Join a privately owned non-for profit Aboriginal Medical Service in the City of Ipswich. A General Practitioner is required to meet a rapidly growing patient demand, as current GPs are booked out daily. As an AMS clinic, Generally Registered doctors in a 3GA program and moratorium restricted GPs are eligible to practice.
The clinic:
Established in the centre of Ipswich for 45 years, reputable and highly rated
Vacancy exists as patients are currently being turned away each day
Bulk billing AMS clinic - see 3 patients per hour on average
Clinic offers range of medical services from GPs, Specialist Doctors and Allied Health Professionals
Patient demographic is 90% Indigenous Australians
Incentives offered:
Salaried position $220K - $280K (dependent on registration) + non-profit grant + car + super
Guaranteed earnings above average market rate of a GP
Be supported by extensive nursing team of 14 - all patients initially triaged by nurse
GPs see high prevalence of procedural work and chronic disease management
Social Incentives:
Sociable working hours - 8:30am to 4:00pm and only work 1 in 8 Saturday's with the following Monday off
