Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Facility Manager to lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of a large-scale facility. This pivotal role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, sound decision-making capabilities, and a passion for enhancing resident outcomes and satisfaction.
Leadership & Strategic Direction:
Drive the strategic direction of the village, including facility development and workforce planning.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, contractors, residents, resident committees, local community, and family member.
Resident Engagement & Quality Improvement:
Provide exceptional customer service focused on enhancing resident outcomes and satisfaction.
Undertake quality improvement activities and involve residents in care decisions to meet their needs.
Team Development & Management:
Lead and mentor a diverse and high-performing management team.
Facilitate ongoing career development, professional growth, and learning opportunities for staff.
Resource Management:
Collaborate with key business partners to ensure appropriate resourcing of personnel and other resources.
Manage facility budgets, financial activities, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure the facility operates in accordance with NMBA standards, Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Quality Standards, and corporate governance requirements.
Maintain quality processes and systems to ensure compliance with aged care regulations and licensing requirements.
Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement:
Work with leadership teams to improve service delivery across all facilities.
Implement and evaluate systems and processes to foster a positive facility culture and promote optimum standards of practice and performance.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage internal and external stakeholders to streamline operational procedures and improve productivity.
Deliver on the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Quality Standards of care.
