Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Facility Manager to lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of a large-scale facility. This pivotal role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, sound decision-making capabilities, and a passion for enhancing resident outcomes and satisfaction.


Leadership & Strategic Direction:

  • Drive the strategic direction of the village, including facility development and workforce planning.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, contractors, residents, resident committees, local community, and family member.

Resident Engagement & Quality Improvement:

  • Provide exceptional customer service focused on enhancing resident outcomes and satisfaction.

  • Undertake quality improvement activities and involve residents in care decisions to meet their needs.

Team Development & Management:

  • Lead and mentor a diverse and high-performing management team.

  • Facilitate ongoing career development, professional growth, and learning opportunities for staff.

Resource Management:

  • Collaborate with key business partners to ensure appropriate resourcing of personnel and other resources.

  • Manage facility budgets, financial activities, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure the facility operates in accordance with NMBA standards, Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Quality Standards, and corporate governance requirements.

  • Maintain quality processes and systems to ensure compliance with aged care regulations and licensing requirements.

Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement:

  • Work with leadership teams to improve service delivery across all facilities.

  • Implement and evaluate systems and processes to foster a positive facility culture and promote optimum standards of practice and performance.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to streamline operational procedures and improve productivity.

  • Deliver on the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Quality Standards of care.
