Registered Nurse (Community)

• Based in Parkes, NSW, 2870
• Travel across the region 3 days per week - Orange, Forbes, Bathurst, Young & Cootamundra
• Perm PT role - 45 hours per fortnight
• Hourly rate based on Award and experience as an RN

The Role:

Due to growth we are looking for a Community RN to provide nursing/clinical care for our home-based clients in the Parkes and surrounding areas (Orange, Forbes, Bathurst, Young & Cootamundra). In this position you'll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality clinical in-home care services to our clients.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Carry out initial and on-going assessment of nursing care for our home-based clients
• Develop personal care plans and ensure the individual care needs are identified and met
• Participate in annual care plan evaluation or on regular cycle as required
• Provide support & guidance to home care employees in response to complex nursing requirements
• Liaise closely with Home Care Service Advisor for any changes of client's condition
• Advocate on behalf of clients to medical and allied health professionals
• Wound care
• Continence care
• ACAT assessments

Essential Criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration
• RN experience within aged care facility/hospital/community nursing
• Good interpersonal skills and an empathy to develop meaningful rapport with clients and family members
• Own motor vehicle (car) with comprehensive insurance
• Able to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
