About the opportunity

Under the direction of the General Manger Supply Chain, Clinical Team Leader (Depot Manager CSS) oversees the daily depot operations including staff and has financial responsibility for the depot. This position is classified as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is designated specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Achieves job responsibilities as a Technical Representative of the Clinical Trials Supply Chain Service in its country, according to legal requirements. Maintain and assure compliance with current ICH, GXP, FDA Good Clinical Practices, ISO guidelines or any other as required in the position training program.

• Supervises the overall performance of staff members to ensure compliance with guidelines above.

• Retains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances and record keeping.

• Ensures regulatory compliance standards are adhered to and that regulatory information is transferred appropriately to local staff and the corporate compliance team.

• Manages the restrictions (scope, cost, time, human resources, etc.) in order to guarantee the depot complies with the expected performance indicators. Be aware of the metrics related to depot operations and assure the business continuity taking part in the planning process and business development activities.

• Is responsible for the local business development by periodically analyzing metrics (operational, occupancy, financial, etc.) and become the initiator of new projects whenever required.

• With the assistance of the HR Manager, manages all associate relations functions for the staff such as hiring, terminating and performance management. Evaluate Personnel daily performance in order to analyze a career development for them.

• Required to be available on call 24/7 to provide telephone assistance in case of an emergency or urgent request.

Skills and Experience

Degree in Pharmacy (or related Biological Science) is highly desirable yet not essential

Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations

Normally requires two (2) to four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience, including at least one (1) year in a management role and preferably in the Clinical Trial business

Experience managing a team of staff

Experience as a Logistics or Warehouse Manager

Basic Computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
