About the opportunity:

As an Application Specialist (Scientist), you will be responsible for managing and providing on on-site and remote services to support academia and research laboratories customers across Queensland.

As an Application Scientist, you will be responsible for managing and providing on-site and remote services to support academia and research laboratories customers across Queensland.

The role focus:

• 60% on programming/writing software specific for the customers testing needs
• 40% of your time will be focused on after-care support of customers, providing automation training, and providing Pre and Post sales technical support (in person, virtually & via the phone)

Skills and Experience

• • Proven successes as an Application Specialist (Scientist) within the ANZ market
  • Working experience with Imaging or plate reader devices / instrumentation, highly regarded
  • Technically minded; ability to grasp highly technical knowledge
  • Ability to confidently troubleshoot, diagnose and solve technical and complex customer problems
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of molecular pathology market / laboratory setting
  • Ability to work collaborative and cross-functionally
  • Bachelor / Engineering degree in bio medical / microbiology / electrical / mechanical / medical technology idea
