A global manufacturing company, with a varied portfolio of high quality consumable products. They operate across numerous channels and have big growth plans for Australia. Unlike their competitors, they own their own factories and therefore have a reliable & uninterrupted supply of products.

About the opportunity
Reporting into the General Manager, as the Business Development Manager you shall be responsible for promoting PPE and consumable products across multiple channels. This is a greenfield role with HUGE potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Highlight and pounce on business opportunities across the healthcare space

• Identify opportunities and build relationships with customers

• Increase sales of consumables products through Tender / Contract compliance

• Manage territory budgets & plan effective cycles to achieve sales budgets.

• Undertake training activities, for products & services.

• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and keep up to date with competitor products

• Collaborate with team members

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in nursing, science, business, or related degree

• Superior Sales capabilities with consumables portfolio

• Ideally have established relationships within the hospital setting

• 'Sales Hunter' mentality essential

• Superior communication & negotiation skills

• Proven ability to plan your own territory

• Ability to self motivate, yet have a 'team player' mentality
