Procurement Officer

Join this global pharmaceutical company in a temporary role providing support to the Procurement Manager who has a number of projects taking time away from his day to day duties.

You will provide technical, operational and communication support to the procurement function with a focus on specific category spend strategies and savings projects.

You will work collaboratively and autonomously and have a strong ability to prioritise.

Duties

• Lead specific spend category strategies and savings projects
• Support the implementation of global and regional procurement projects and sourcing strategies
• Liaise with local and regional stakeholders
• Prepare monthly reports including spend and savings reports
• Help improve contract management and third party engagement process

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a procurement position
• Experience in managing internal stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with data analysis and reporting
• Ability to work autonomously and take direction
• Effective time management skills
• Solutions orientated

This is a contract role where you will be required to start within a week and commit to a 12 month contract. This role requires a combination of working from home and working in the office.
