About the opportunity
As the Associate Director for Legal & Compliance ANZ, you will support the Legal Director, ANZ by providing legal and compliance advice as well as protecting the legal interests and compliance standards for all business units across ANZ markets. Partner with both the Human Health and Animal Health business leaders in ANZ.
Duties
- Ensure all corporate, regional, and local legal and compliance mandates are met
- Provide counsel to the Human Health and Animal Health business stakeholders in ANZ
- Support the Legal & Compliance Director ANZ with the legal budget for ANZ
- Advise on day-to-day commercial transactions and business undertakings, business development, patient and marketing programs
- Consult and provide advice on commercial, corporate, and employment issues
- Monitor changes and developments in the legal and regulatory environment, advise management and develop appropriate strategies
- Develop, monitor, and implement compliance and risk management strategies
- Bachelor of Law or relevant legal qualification
- 6+ years PQE experience
- Experience in contractual matters & compliance programs, privacy & data protection
- You have In-house legal and compliance experience in a large multinational organisation or commercial practice experience in a law firm
- Strong proven record of managing complex matters & problem solving
