About the opportunity

As the company grows, they are placing emphasis on finding a great Demand Planner who can join the business to assist with a SAP implementation along with the GAINS demand and supply planning platform.

Work with a project team to ensure this is set up correctly at the transition point and work with the supply chain team across Australia and New Zealand to maintain the forecast in the new system.

Involved in developing the planning function and finding business improvements.

Duties

• Advise on processes required to effectively utilise a sophisticated demand planning platform
• Assist in staff training to introduce staff to demand planning processes
• Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
• Communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
• Monitor and report on changes in sales forecasts
• Conduct monthly forecast maintenance
• Address demand related issues in a timely and effective manner

Skills and Experience

• Experience as a demand planner in health care or FMCG
• Experience with planning tools such as GAINS/SAP APO/IBP
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills
