Position: 

Locum  vacancy have  become available for experienced cardiac sonographer to support a South Brisbane Based Clinic.  The clinic has been in operations for more than 20 years with a strong patient following and an excellent GP referral network.  Cheat sheets available.  The doctors are known for providing comprehensive and compassionate cardiovascular care in the greater Brisbane area. As a Cardiac Sonographer Locum, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cardiac imaging procedures including Exercise Stress Echocardiograms, Trans thoracic Echocardiograms, and ECGs.


Responsibilities:

• Perform Exercise Stress Echocardiograms, Trans thoracic Echocardiograms, and ECGs following established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging of the heart 
• Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Medical Sonography or related field.
• Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) or equivalent accreditation.
• Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in performing Exercise Stress Echocardiograms, Transthoracic Echocardiograms, and ECGs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
